Google+ Now Supports Android App Links On Stream

Users are now able to post applications onto their Google+ streams, with a direct link allowing friends to download the apps on their mobile devices.

The update comes in the same week as Google Play’s release on the major European markets. So far, music and movies are available in France, Germany and the UK, but Google has promised to release the service in more countries over the next year.

When a user pastes the application URL in their stream a thumbnail appears automatically, along with an ‘Install'/’Buy’ button. When a friend clicks on the button the corresponding page loads and a prompt box appears asking whether the user wishes to install the app on another device.
The update makes it far easier for brands to keep their followers informed of new apps or improvements to existing ones.

What do you think of the Google TV and Google+ updates?
